Our annual newspaper, The Visitor, is packed full of features and interesting information for visitors to the National Park. As well as articles about the cultural heritage, wildlife and landscape of this special area, it contains a comprehensive pull-out, 12 month events listing, and useful information such as the the location of car parks, toilets and cash points. There are descriptions of the different dales and there is a detailed map inside the back cover.
In the current edition - The Visitor 2008 - you can meet the Limestone Country Project farmers and their unusual cattle, find out about hay meadows and their 'houses', and challenge yourself to walk the famous Three Peaks - Ingleborough, Wharfedale and Pen-y-ghent.
The Visitor is published in January each year and is available from National Park Centres, Tourist Information Centres, accommodation providers, and many other outlets in and around the National Park.
